Information

Angela Kumpe is a leading creative pet stylist. With over 25 years’ experience grooming, she is one of the leading influencers and educators in the world of creative pet styling.

You have seen her brilliant creations ringside. In her booth at tradeshows around the country. At seminars and workshops around the country. In photos. In books. Magazine covers. Even on national TV. Angela has been at the heart of the advancement of this creative outlet for groomers for an exceptionally long time.

This is going to be a FULL-BLOWN creative design. From start – to finish. It is going to be a lot of work, but it is a lot of fun! In total, this is a 2-HOUR creative styling lesson!!

We have broken it into two separate lessons on the website so you can follow along easily. Each Full Feature lesson has broken into three sections for a total of six parts. You will want to begin watching A Full Creative African Animal Design – Getting Started and Creating a Giraffe Design. Then follow up with the second lesson, A Full Creative African Animal Design – Creating an African Crane and Finishing Details.

Angela is going to walk you through the carving and dying process of an elaborate creative design. She starts with a white, fuzzy, grown-out miniature Poodle. What she ends up with is a vividly colored dog with a unique themed design. One side of the dog is a giraffe. On the opposite side of the dog, Angela created an African Crowned Crane.

For our L2GD viewers, you get a front-row seat as she brings this intricate, three–dimensional creation to life! And the end results are amazing!! The concepts are easy to identify. The colors are crisp, clean, and brilliant. The details pop, bringing clarity to this entire theme.

Whether you are just starting to dip your toes into the creative world – or trying to perfect your artistic designs for the ring, this lesson is for you. Angela shares ideas that can be applied to simple, everyday client creations or full-blown, competition-level designs like this.

Due to the length and amount of content Angela shares, this full lesson runs about two hours. We have broken the lesson into six parts and will be airing it as a “double feature” lesson. This series is the first three-part lesson, with the other three-part lesson here.

Check out Angela’s online store called a Creative Collection to view products she uses to create this African Animal Design.
