Video DescriptionAbout Jennifer Hecker

30 minutes, 40 seconds

This is a super simple trim. It’s extremely versatile for many pet dogs. It can be knocked out in a flash by experienced groomers. The length can be changed for warm or cooler climates. Plus, it’s both stylish and easy to maintain.

This little Terrier mix is an older boy. His coat is sparse and fly-away. If trimmed too short, his skin will clearly be seen – something generally not considered attractive by owners. And scissoring this coat type? Yuck. It marks and tracks like crazy! Jennifer shows you how to breeze through this trim in no time – and make it appealing for the owner.

This trim style is perfect for busy groomers. She uses primarily guard combs and thinning shears to achieve this haircut. Throughout the entire lesson, Jennifer gives great everyday pet grooming advice and tips on lots of topics.

{br} In this video you will learn:

• how to work with fly-away hair.

• how to set the pattern line in the chest area.

• how to style the head by hand so the skin is not exposed.{br}

  • how to tidy up the end of the muzzle without cutting the tongue.

    • how to style the tail so it matches the overall style.
