Sophie has been in the spotlight on Learn2GroomDogs.com videos before. You may have seen her in: Bathing and Drying a Long and Natural Coat and Salvage Work on a Havanese Anchor. As time has passed, we’ve found Sophie to be more and more suited for salvage work videos. This prompted us to finally convince the owner to create a trim style that was more conducive to her active lifestyle.
Misty leads you through a Puppy Cut trim style that maintains the essence of the Havanese. This coat is extremely soft and very difficult to get smooth. Misty utilizes a snap-on comb to set up the pattern on the body and finishes the legs by hand scissoring.
In this video Misty shows you two different ways to tie up a top knot: first as a single pony tail tie up and finally in the traditional Havanese style of two braids above the eyes.
